I have returned home! A new experience and lots of lessons learned during my 1st showing in the public arena of art festivals. The best part was that I shared this experience with my sister. She is an amazing watercolor artist. Together, we braved our 1st art showing together.
Thankfully, we were located in a covered and protected area. Aided with a box fan, the Texas heat was very tolerable. Sales were slower than expected. The recession is still alive and well in East Texas. It was very evident when I ventured out of the booth to purchase drinks. There were no lines at the concessions stands.
