I think I will blame my lack of updating my website on being an artist. I find it hard to commit time to sit in front of this thing and type. I have much more fun working in my studio.
Tomorrow I start a new journey. I am traveling to Longview, Texas to be part of AlleyFest. This particular festival started in 1978. I plan to leave my home here in Alexandria, Va between 10am and noon. A pretty big window that I hope I can hit successfully! My over night stop will be somewhere in Tennessee after about 10 hours of driving. I plan on many stops along the way.
Tuesday morning, I will hit the road by 10am and arrive safely at my sisters home in Longview, Texas about 8pm. That gives me Wednesday to Friday noon to build display racks for our art. The festival runs from Friday evening June 5 to Sunday afternoon June 7.
I will try to update my travels more often….Someone told me I needed to get on facebook and twitter…I have a time with this one thing, I can’t image adding those to my “TO DO ” list!
